HIGHLIGHT

The U.S. dollar lost ground on competing currencies on Wednesday. Investors were distracted from the Greenback by even more Brexit-inspired tension surrounding the British Pound. China reiterated that it wouldn’t use its Yuan currency as a weapon in its trade battles with the United States.

US DOLLAR

The Dollar index is down to a 6-week low, as trade tensions with China have temporarily softened despite new US tariffs. Strength in the commodity complex is keeping a lid on the USD for now.
